Last month, a couple of us from the Creation team were lucky enough to get along to the Salesforce World Tour London. Being relatively new to the Salesforce World, I had never attended one of their renowned World Tours before. I had no idea what to expect other than a pretty impressive day, and it definitely lived up to my expectations!
Here’s What To Expect
The Salesforce World Tour is a huge day of learning and networking, and is the second largest Salesforce event next to Dreamforce. This year in London, there were more than 10,000 attendees, 80 exhibitors, and over 100 sessions to attend. In the turnout of 10,000+, there were Salesforce employees, Consultancy Partners, Customers, Potential Customers, who were all there to indulge in everything Salesforce and start or grow their journey as a Trailblazer.
The agenda included a Keynote by Salesforce CMO Simon Mulcahy, a presentation by Centrica Connected Managing Director Nina Bhatia. As well as Oliver Lee OBE The Challenge Chief Executive. It also hosted the entrepreneurial minds behind Treatwell and many more, all sharing their successes using Salesforce. We had the opportunity to learn (more) about every Salesforce product and how you can and should be using it, what we should expect from products going forwards, the endless possibilities for integrations with Salesforce, seminars, breakout sessions, a lot of networking, and the list continues! On top of this, they kept us nourished and fuelled throughout the big day.
In under 20 years, Salesforce has already redefined the way people and businesses think, sell, and grow; and it’s not stopping yet. It was awesome and so inspiring to see that in action amongst so many people at the London World Tour.
To leave you with some food for thought, whilst hitting over £8 billion in revenue in 2016 and running a carbon neutral cloud, Salesforce are now in the top 5 growing enterprise companies globally, and you can see why! If that isn’t convincing enough, then you will have to see it for yourself! The 2018 World Tour is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself into the amazing world of Salesforce! We are definitely looking forward to the next one already!
